i have just got take my time
perhaps i am a little cold
a little off centre
and there is more i have not mentioned

if i have the issues
well, that is fine
but a quick glance around me
confirms that the world –
is out of its mind

how do i sum up my emotions
when the sum is too big
it is certainly not one i can tally
i can only lap up the sun
as these emotions start to hurry

and indecision and insecurity,
will struggle –
to ever sign a peace treaty
but people –
will alway provide the rich beauty –

i have gone from euphoric state
to a mental state
from early starter
to something quite late

pilots licence,
good looking,
probably a six pack
you know,
everybody’s friend

i have made people laugh
made them cry,
affected them,
deep down inside

there is a darkness within me
a darkness which is in all of us
a darkness that you are scared of,
because one day you fear becoming it

the way they interrupt
the way,
they pay no attention
and the way they can be so abrupt

you would understand
pick up the pieces
guide the spiritual hand
