The Gloves

i do not want to hurt you
i do not want to lose you
just wear those gloves
those soft and delicate gloves
that mean so much
i do not want the pain
yet, we know the story
we will go through it again
these soft and delicate gloves
that make my hands so warm
your expectation in me is low
that, i do know
and i can hardly blame you
that is down to me
i just want to wear those gloves
and maybe, feel one last touch
