In-between

i want the balance
but as me,
i constantly change
i want it all,
but i have to let some things be
you know the story…
the one about the person with no key
i want the balance
a belief in me
contact is good
but there was a time of fire and wood
of no peace of mind
now,
peace is much easier to find
i want the balance
the ability to be kind and understand chance
i want it all,
but only in dreams
because dreamers never wake up
realists never sleep
and i am so fatalistic
it could make me weep
i want the balance and that is realism
