Chat and Coffee

i met my mental health
for a chat
and coffee
and we discussed
life choices
and the life long regrets
i asked my mental health
what did it want me to be
why had it once captured me
why had it hid the key
why had it refused to set me free

i met my mental health
for a one to one,
a piece of reflective supervision
i asked it why,
it had fed my indecision
encouraged my confusion
and wowed me with self illusion
it seems like,
we are stuck together
me and my mental health
with only one controlling the weather
