The Phone Call
i have waited nearly fifteen years
for one phone call
that i know,
will one day come
i have waited into adulthood
i waited when i was young
i have always known,
that one day it will come
she thinks about me
and says i will come undone
i would like to disagree
i would have, when i was young
i have waited nearly fifteen years
for one phone call
and last night,
i got a taste of it
and i realised, that perhaps
that it is sooner rather than later
the fullness of time will reveal all
i feel close and closer
i can almost hear the call
