When Nobody Understands
when nobody understands
when those that claim to love you
do not accept
when life feels like –
hope that has left
when lovers turn into demons
and demons remain incorrect
who is going to mend –
these broken pieces
when those that claim to love you
put you under house arrest
when life feels like –
it has made you chief suspect
when lovers turn shallow
and shallow loses respect
there are shoulders you need
and there people
in which you need to believe
do not let them –
push you around
upon their boating lake
be careful now, not to drown
