Read Into it What You Will

i cannot say
how i really feel
it will have so many interpretations
some of which will seem barely real
i cannot say
the truth within
it remains unravelled
so where do i begin
when so many paths have been travelled
i can see its nature
even its frame
and when i need it to
it calls my name
i cannot say
how i really feel
everyone takes it to their heart
they put me on trial
and then they tear my defence apart
the moment i felt love
may have been just that
the truth i claimed
may not be a fact
a soulmate i found
may not be a match
