Blind Panic
i did not seek this one
i did not advertise
perhaps i did
perhaps i did advertise
why don’t you come and find me
some people take fat or thin
some people take short or tall
well i take psychopaths and murderers
i take them all
the weirder the better
because this life never seems to fail
no one person is single,
and looking for sanity
they keep the card up their sleeve
and deal it when it is too late
i did not seek this one
she looked like an angel
but i did not the loaded gun
that only shot fools
my hopes for sanity blown away
and smothered to death
their kisses are just a peck
they peck me till i am beaten
dreams are swallowed whole
and hope is eaten
