A Future Relationship – Written Thursday 28th December 2000 (Aged 25)

A Future Relationship

i know you are out there,
find me,
come on, find me
wherever you are
living your life
unaware of me
as i am unaware of you
but there will come a time
when we both, cannot be,
without each other
it will be then,
that this poem changes
from being about no one
to being about you
it become about the time,
before we met,
but hurry up and find me
at this very moment
you are someone somewhere
carrying on unawares
i wonder who you are,
wherever you are,
i am trying to picture you
i know you are out there
i guess it will be soon
that we actually start to care
