i leave messages
but you never return them
you tell me how you feel
you lay it bare
i leave messages
is it so hard to return them
i know you are not lying
but my need is hardly climbing
i leave messages
but you just treat it as a game
perhaps it is
i will the ditch mask then
and pretend i am insane
i leave messages
but you never return them
a game of blush and bluff
is really too much
we can either be real
or skulk around in dreams
we can either feel nothing
or act like human beings
i leave messages
