These Days I Do Not Let Landslides Happen
i think they looked for a way in
i felt that slide
the landslide that happens
when you are vulnerable
the moment someone circling
…dives in
but i stopped taking –
that type of, ‘drug’ some years ago
there is no, hope or happiness –
on that road
but beneath my feet –
i felt the land slip and move
as they stood in front of me
and gave me a, ‘look’
a message within a message
and the message i took
it frightens me
not now, but for the days
when i let landslides happen
and welcomed chances
even when they buried me alive
maybe they just care, i am sure they do
but my experience,
and instinct, it tells me otherwise
i think they looked for a way in
but somebody already lives deep inside
