We Need Remarkable Leaders
we need remarkable leaders
we need people
drenched in compassion
who reek of empathy
who the arms required to hold us
we need leaders
with a large stash of certainty
who can go beyond the common touch
yet… we have populists
and those they should have impeached
we have people
brain damaged by their experience
blinded by their privilege
where are those people
who lead in these moments of panic
the days and months of a crisis such as this
we are collapsing
certainty and leadership heartedly missed
give me an inquiry
these hopeless mammals need to be quizzed
we need remarkable people
for such remarkable time
not children with their childish toys
busy drawing clumsy political lines
