They Never Know You – Written Thursday 24th February 2005 (Aged 29)

They Never Know You

whatever people say
they rarely know you
it is just a guess
a conclusion,
something that they draw from
it is such a shame
that they do not go beyond
whatever people say
it is just a guess
of what and who you are
you are guilty,
as charged,
i have seen those who have not known me
be so right,
and yet those closest,
unable to find the correct light
whatever people say
they rarely know you
you are a crossword puzzle
minus the clues,
four up and two down
whatever, is is always an unknown view
