i miss a pretty thing
how big is my affection
how long is a piece of string?
speaking slowly now, turns a knife
i hope it is going to be alright
i miss a pretty thing
it is strange in my mind
i miss something i let go
i want to cope,
i want to let go of this pain
but every day arrives with duty
and they do keep on arriving
and i know life is is much more
but sometimes it is hard to keep on smiling
i miss a pretty thing
it is difficult and i feel alone
i miss the closeness,
i miss a pretty thing
sometimes it is hard to keep on smiling
