Just Waiting – Written Between February and June 1995 (Aged 20)

Just Waiting

i was waiting
considering my position
of confusion and illusion
and standing about in the rain
because it is cold
and i don’t like the pain
you come along pretty soon
just past lunchtime
almost afternoon
and we went away
for a picnic in the sun
because the rain had stopped
and i had learned allot
most of which meant everything
leaving nothing but questions
as i came home
happy as could be
and she means allot to me
but still, i do not know where i stand
or understand how she feels
so just like earlier today
i was finding it hard concentrating
just waiting
