Homeward Bound
i was leaving
nearly grieving
for what i had almost got
and when i thought about it
it did not seem a lot
so i am moving fast
covering a lot of ground
things do not always work
i am homeward bound
turning my back on familiarity
changing the mould of my reality
i have been out with strange companions
and i have learnt so many things
and when i did
i was leaving
not so easily found
feeling down
but homeward bound
