Mental Health People
in the end they are jigsaw pieces
left over,
from a puzzle no one could complete
and we ask people
who cannot manage their own mental health
to take on and look after –
those who cannot manage theirs
in the end they are not monsters
just the sharp end of conformity
where there are no servants
to the realms of reality
they are lost,
and their faces carry the cries of a million dreams
which got lost on the way
and their own narrative
is bloodied by stolen days
in the end they are jigsaw pieces
left over,
from a puzzle which none of us ever complete
