Lost and Found – Written Saturday 1st May 2004 (Aged 29)

Lost and Found

i have been lost and i have been found
and at twenty nine years
i am still around
i have been lost and i have been here and there
i have given it all,
and then i have struggled to share
a talented contributor with a soul so bare
i have been back home at one in the morning
i have loved more than once
and loved every new day dawning
i have been to bed and drank too much
and i know i cannot change my head
because even when i have lead the way
there have been times when i have been easily lead
i have been hers and i have been yours
and it is true, she closed them
but then, you always open my doors
