Divorced Child – Written Sunday 27th April 2014 (Aged 39)

Divorced Child

i should not turn away
but it is what i know
one more moment
of where
what i do will only be a plaster
when,
the situation needs a surgeon
i am sorry
feel like a burden
i should hold and hold on
but damage is in my water works
and it is truly done
i am immature
and a slave,
to that divorced child
the love is there
flowing over the land
and the mountains
and into
over forged streams
i wish,
i wish for our ever shaping dreams
