Corruption is a Sickly Sauce
corruption is a sickly sauce
smeared,
across their contemptible faces
morals,
seem ill advised
when you gorge on vice
what incentive is there
for a moral compass to be true
i see their thick lined intelligence
sculpting an illicit view
addled brains,
from little left to choose
sickly morals,
painting shades of abuse
their soft soled compassion
compliments their bovver boot hate
corruption is a sickly sauce
that seeps into their veins
it makes a treacle of their blood
and turns their heart to sickly sugar cane
what can we do
with a society
propped up and hard to chew
how do we democratise the corruption
that is rewarded so much
how do we implore others
when we need the compassionate touch?
