So Good, So Far?
i think i have, ‘done okay’,
with the pieces left behind
it has been a harder life then i wanted
a steeper climb,
roads never quite straight
ones that have a tendency to wind
i think the realisation
that it is an, ‘unholy mess’,
and that people, like fruit to a tree,
hang onto flaws
has helped me in times of duress
those times,
when i can never be that sure
i think i have, ‘done okay’
you know, to get to this point
i have tried to expose those thoughts
found on badly turned joints
