When Your Story Has Not Been Told
who is this
that i see before me
someone –
who has slipped away quietly
someone –
who wondered –
what they should be
others,
want complexity
well,
they are welcome to it
it is lonely
and it is cold
when your story
has never been truly told
or, told in such a way
that artistic licence
has much more to say
and your life long subscription fee
is so much less to pay
what am i now
probably not quite sure
here we are then, playing around
with the pieces of our future
