Currency Exchange – Written Monday 3rd March 2008 (Aged 33)

Currency Exchange

the value of our relationship
seems to have –
a pretty poor exchange rate
i can see the value
by the acquisition of a new mate
a new currency
for you at least,
seems to make sense
what about me?
all i have is shillings and pence
so for a while,
our value,
seemed high on our exchange
then there was the blame
and for a while we carried on
without serious gain,
and now it is gone
there is not a thing to be claimed
and we revalue,
our currency exchange
