Sink Into The Road – Written Between Tuesday 15th February 1994 and October 1994 (Aged 18/19)

Sink Into The Road

it is raining outside
i want to cry into your arms
and disappear inside
i do not know where i am going
or where i am coming from
all i know is that my mind is shot
and my feelings are gone
i want to go outside and die in the road
i want to join the stars,
that is all i know
and i know that the life we lead is a farce
i want to be beside you again
i want to feel the rain
on my ever escaping soul
as i lie there in the middle of the road
i do not want to know why
i do not want to cry
i do not want to be alone
i will not be alone, not if you let me in
it will not happen and i have been told
i will go outside and sink into the road
