Unloved – Written Thursday 13th May 1999 (Aged 24)

do you feel unloved?
unloved and unevolved
scattered like dust
in the wind and the cold

i screamed aloud
and i screamed in my room
i might just quietly –
to my tomb
but i cried –
the moment i left the womb
i have almost died
but i never quite made it to the tomb

do you feel shrouded
crowded in and lacking
do you feel –
scattered like the leaves
in a hurricane like the trees
in the wind and the cold
does it chap your face
leaving you feeling old
do you feel unloved
and like a story, already told
