As If I Really Care
as if i really care
as if it really matters –
if you are there
when the dreams lies in tatters
and you look old in your stare
just what is going on –
between us two
is what we have, already gone
and as if i really care
you are a drug
especially when you are not there
i have had enough
and i do not really care
you can be who you want to be
because at the end of the day
no matter what say,
you are not that important to me
and that is how i feel today
it is that way, it is the way i am
and i wish things could seem fair
don’t you understand
as if i really care
