You Must Take Comfort
roll dice,
if that is your dare
carve statues
to adorn your stairs
fashion lampshades
and fix your lights
your attachment journey
means you hold on tight
push trolleys
down ever increasing hills
play games
in lost fields
as if the doors
you once carved
helped you find a place
when you feel like
you are going to fall apart
come home
to a freshly made bed
flick through the pages
of a laissez-faire a to z
faithful,
to the wooden slats
that build the hull of your dreams
find a counter culture
to negate your screams
you must take comfort
in the nature of your being
