A Patchwork Quilt – Written Monday 10th June 2002 (Aged 27)

A Patchwork Quilt

a patchwork quilt
of time spent
and mis gained guilt
if it was different
if it was sane
we would leave it all behind
and embrace the rain
a patchwork quilt
woven into my head
my dreams many colours
a patchwork quilt
lies in my life
upon my feelings
that acts like a light
sit upon the seat
live easily with me
a patchwork quilt
it is everything we will be
