Here and There
caught between here and there
hankering after moonlight
the sort that highlights your hair
i know that a swallow’s appeal
is lost in a coven’s fabled halls
the sight of their stricken mind
starts to appal
caught between good and bad
following the soothsayer
and feeling so sad
a small child cries in the elevator
as they wait for it to ascend
there is no fantastical glass
and they just need a friend
caught between here and there
playing dice and just trying to hang right
falling through rifts of time
and the multi layers of the night
every time i look again
you catch the strands of my moonlight
caught between here and there
and what is wrong and what is right
