Scrabble Scrabble – Written January 2011 (Aged 35)

Scrabble Scrabble

she played scrabble with my emotions
she tried to construct words
but the tiles and the letters
were not one of which i had heard
then she tried to convince
and that she kept her hope
in a perfectly poised barrow
and that there was no smoke
but feelings without fear are so narrow

James Garratt – January 2011
