After Hours
childhood such as ours
where the let downs –
went on, after hours
it ends up giving us –
different routes
and different turns
because,
despite the trampled flowers
there is so much to learn
and it is true,
you can become a mirror –
to the past that you hate
or you can take the moments
and be yourself,
before it is too late
maybe,
you just need –
to find those around you
