Guilty Relief
can’t think
to see you
not what i felt
the material is good
but i do not melt
lost out
but caught in the lights –
that dazzle us all
moons and stars
romantic illusions
destined to fade
like the sun with the day
like the calm
that proceeds every storm
the joy felt –
when it is all gone
cannot really miss you
lost my belief
i wish it were different
but i just felt relief
isn’t that terrible of me
but that is what comes –
when you admit honesty
that is what i want
