Favourite Crayons
this girl, she is only young
life is still planned out
she drew the plan –
with her favourite crayons
bright colours and self belief
her plan is drawn
the sky stops just before the ground
she is only young
puzzled by what the older see
puzzled as to why they appear –
to be so arrogant
but this girl is only young
and she has this life plan
all neatly drawn
she drew it with her favourite crayons
