Take It Away
take this pain,
take this hurt
please take it away
i fell down
ad sadness decided to stay
feel a failure
and worthless inside
it’s stupid
such a simple test
which i will probably fail
how could i expect people to understand?
how i wait
this self pity
has the hunger of something lost
the loneliness of a city
the cost
the stupid cost of it all
take this pain
take this hurt
throw it off a bridge
and throw it into the sea
please could you stop it
please, take this pain away from me
