This North East Coast
it rains outside
this north east coast of scotland
has a bleakness
and a beauty that leaves me amazed
the cold dank north sea
crashes against the coastline
the craggy nature
and its closeness to the elements
it leaves me breathless
and it leaves me amazed
tiny villages and small towns
pockmark its coast and its cliffs
the scenery of the mountains
it must be some gods own gift
this north east coast of scotland
it is wild and untamed
and it has a raw beauty
it leaves me wondering and amazed
it rains outside
here, we are no prisoners
to any kind of city life
we are happy servants to nature
the crusty breaks in the headlands
feels like a beautiful future
this north east coast of scotland
