What Do You See and Feel?
when you sit down and look around
what do you see and feel?
do you see an empty void?
one where hope should be
or do you feel guilty –
because all that have
does not make you feel complete
or not as complete as people say it should
are there truths that you dare not face
is there a gaping space
a lonely, lonely place
has part of your being already –
packed its case?
when you sit down and look round
is there anybody around?
and do you listen out for lost sounds?
