Cannot Make Someone Want You
does not matter –
what i say or do
cannot make someone –
want you
cannot fill gaps
with just has fresh air
cannot hold them tight
or convince them to share
does not matter –
when i say or do
i am here wanting you
but there is no sale
and there is no pitch
just as these feelings –
they have no switch
does not matter –
what i say or do
what dizzy heights –
can i really climb
i can only hope that feelings –
become eroded over time
