Phase Three

this is phase three
the one,
which is about the new found me
phase one
well, it had its moments
and it had some fun
phase two –
i hoped it would never end
and certainly the feelings i have
never change or even bend
and now,
this is phase three
the one,
where i strike out on my own
king of the palace
the one i now call home
yes, it certainly is phase three
the one,
which is about the new found me
