Sadder – Written Friday 17th November 2000 (Aged 25)

Sadder

some people are sadder
just tearful
some people see different colours
just different
some people are affected
just feel too much
just too sensitive –
to life’s often strange touch
some people laugh
but can never really laugh it off
for some, even a soulmate –
proves never to be enough
some people are sadder
it’s not that they do not see the bigger picture
or its beautiful frame
it’s that they do see it
and all it’s pain
some people are sadder
and that is the nature of their grain
