Romance
romance feels like an old fashioned word
but romance is not old fashioned
or is it just absurd
is romance absurd to the extreme
left of centre and bound to our very being
yet romance feels gradual in its gradient
and yet, it is still such a climb
with a sense that is truly a dissident
romance plays poker with your mind
romance feels like an old fashioned word
but is romance so old fashioned
or is that romance is truly beautiful
perhaps much more than we imagine
close to the base and so real
romance feels like an old fashioned word
yet with you it is current and how i feel
