I Fell In Love With Someone On A Sunday

i fell in love with someone,
it happened on a sunday
and it happened quite suddenly
i hadn’t woken up that day
thinking,
i shall fall in love
i just expected the usual push and shove
and a cry of,
this is too much…
i fell in love with someone,
it happened on a sunday
and it happened quite suddenly
now i think about,
how these feelings crept up on me
it’s like the mind just floats
in amongst the encroaching sea
now, there is no looking back
my sunday and my feelings
have wandered down a different track
