Position Statement

left my thoughts in such a bad way
somehow,
you always end up making me sad
such a shame,
that’s too bad
once upon a time,
the stepladder you provided
made me so glad
now i am so lost
and there is no chance to recover
somehow,
you always steal the idea from my lovers
and you expect,
there could never be another
left my hands in a newer position
out there,
you are on a mission
the feelings we have
yours seems to constantly shift their position
and you never see it
never see how much it means,
lost and marooned
on a island of lost younger dreams
