If Only She Could See Me Today – Written Sunday 30th August 2009 (Aged 34)

If Only She Could See Me Today

she does not know that i am here
thinking about her,
tearing out my heart
pulling myself apart
she does not call to ask how i am
she does not think,
that maybe i am upset
that maybe this is difficult for me
she carries on with her own life
she does not call,
or enquire how i am
my love for her,
apparently does not understand
no expectations,
but, some emotions
i think that would go a long way
but what does it matter,
i guess she knows i will always be okay
if only she knew of my hurt,
if only she could see me today
