Here Is Love
here is love
it sits in an armchair
it takes us by the hand
here is love
it confuses us to understand
here it is
as precise and indistinct
as flowers from a tree
here is love
let it light fires
barbeques are a must
here it is
it needs our trust
here is love
and it’s dying for a home
because without it
we are just lying alone
here is love
it is born and yet it dies
it finds the defenceless
and it tries
here is love
in all its many colours
colours which can leave us blind
here is love
and to us, it is often blind
