Actions
we can never escape –
the consequences of our actions
they come back in to land
to haunt us
to find us
and they will find us eventually
the mirrors
and the make up
are no real disguise
we all face who we are
deep inside
because we can never escape –
the consequences of our actions
verbally,
we can rebuke
like a lucky strike
but how far can we run
eventually consequence will find us
and we can shake our head
and say, no, no, no
but it is only a matter of time
before they come home
