Born To Pirates
caught the hopscotch
that bounded down my hall
in another dream
i was suddenly so small
with power station parents
holding a childlike ball
went quickly
to the well of which i despair
my genie took the bottle
and lost my hope and care
in another dream
i spent my time living
it is hard to have a heart
even if it is not giving
went to the playgrounds
of the missed
where my teacher of fate
clouded my judgement with a lisp
in another dream
the baby was kissed
one which was a different being
but still born to pirates
but on islands with actual feeling
