Punctuation
i have never been the full stop
or the punchline to the joke
or the hyphen that tends to choke
the comma,
that causes people to pause
that has never truly been my cause
an apostrophe,
one that stays to the end
the question mark,
that has always been my friend
a sentence is something to defend
the words are the weapons,
ammunition and the swords
the right words defend every cause
they set us free and move us forward
