Maybe One Day
maybe one day
we will meet
and you will believe me
stop looking at me
in a way that says –
that i am a joker
the one –
that sits in your pack
the time we spend
seems so little
yet the foundations
and the walls feel strong
and when –
i lay down next to you
with an arm –
around your waist
i sleep so soundly
maybe one day
when we speak
you will need me
and stop looking at me
in a way which says –
i am the liar –
in a line up of pure truth
maybe one day
