how was the cocktail party
shake down with friends
dancing with a stolen umbrella
how has your day been
did you make it
did you get seen
how was your day at work
did it fall apart at the seams
did they do it again
did they stamp on your dreams
shake down with friends
dancing with a stolen umbrella
in the gutter alleys
of a downtown bistro
where the atmosphere is thick
with hooded dreamers
how has your day turned out
how was the pavement café
shake down with friends
dancing with a stolen umbrella
