I Like It When You Hold Me Tight

i like it when you hold me right
scare away the demons
those that plague me at night
those that toss and turn
and try to pick a fight
i like it when your sunshine eyes –
light up every room
when your musical body
plays my favourite tunes
it makes me swoon
i like it when you chase away –
all those frightful ghosts
all those headstrong feelings
they are such an unwelcome host
and you always leave me reeling
